T-64 is a Soviet tank manufactured in Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, and designed by Alexander Morozov. The T-64 was the first Soviet tank to use an autoloader for its main gun, helping to keep the size and weight of the tank low.
After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Ukraine carried on the development of T-64 modernization, as the main factory was in the country. As a result, T-64 had become the primary tank of Ukrainian Armed Forces. The tank saw its first combat deployment in 2014, when it was deployed during the war in Donbas.
