110th Mechanized Brigade is a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
The brigade was formed at the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. It held the line at Avdiivka from March 2022 until February 2024, becoming a highly effective combat unit through continuous heavy fighting.
The brigade was awarded the honorary title “named after Brigadier General Marko Bezruchko” in August 2022, received its Battle Flag in October 2022, and was awarded the Medal for Courage and Bravery in December 2023.
In 2024, the brigade fought in the Donetsk direction and was later deployed to Velyka Novosilka. After enduring partial encirclement and significant personnel losses, the unit was forced to withdraw in early 2025. Following this, brigade commander Ihor Hubarenko was dismissed.
On July 1, 2025, brigade commander Colonel Serhiy Zakharevich was killed by a Russian strike on Huliaipole. In early July 2025, the brigade was absorbed into the 17th Army Corps and continues to conduct combat operations in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
110th Mechanized Brigade is recognized for its resilience and combat effectiveness under prolonged frontline conditions.
