Battalion Artemivsk was a battalion of Special Purpose Police Forces. The unit was created on May 2, 2014, in Dnipro Oblast. The main of the battalion was to ensure public order and guard checkpoints in the area of anti-terrorist operation in Donetsk Oblast.
On October 5, 2015, by the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Artemivsk Battalion was disbanded and selected fighters transfered to a newly formed KORD rapid response unit.
