Website Recap – May 2025
May marked the launch of our new Equipment section on the site! We’ve heard your requests for a way to view which units use specific equipment—and now, thanks to our comprehensive Equipment database, it’s all possible. Apart from that, our dedicated contributors have worked tirelessly to add new units and fill in missing details for those already listed.
Equipment Database
We’re proud to introduce a brand-new section on our site: the Equipment Database. This idea has been on my mind for several years, but until recently, there wasn’t a clear vision or enough time to bring it to life. Over the past few months, however, steady progress has been made, and after much anticipation and hard work, it’s finally ready to share with you.
Unlike a comprehensive, standalone resource, the Equipment Database is designed to complement our main focus—the Units Database. Its primary purpose is to catalog equipment used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces and clearly show which units operate which equipment. The two databases are fully integrated, allowing our contributors to easily link, add, or remove equipment on unit pages and keep everything up to date.
Special attention was given to collecting high-quality images, with the majority sourced from the official social media pages of Ukrainian military units—and, of course, in high definition. There are a few exceptions, mainly involving rare or less-documented vehicles currently in service with the Ukrainian Army.

What’s next?
The Equipment Database marks the last major planned addition to the site—but that doesn’t mean we’re finished. Far from it. We have plenty of ideas for what’s next, including a series of in-depth articles.
Our main focus for June is to continue maintaining and expanding the Units Database, closely following developments within the Ukrainian Defense Forces. We also have a few ideas to improve the site’s overall usability, though whether those changes roll out soon will depend on how much time can be dedicated to them.
