About Unit

19th Army Corps is a combined arms unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

It was formed and revealed in April 2025 for the first time by MilitaryLand, as part of the wider reform in the Ukrainian military to the corps structure. It was introduced in early May 2025, with Brigadier General Oleksandr Bakulin being appointed as its commander.

In July 2025, the first units joined the corps, being the 39th Battalion of Unmanned Systems and the 94th Anti-Tank Battalion.

Since early 2026, its entire combat composition was fully revealed, consisting of the 14th Reconnaissance Battalion, 28th Mechanized, 39th Unmanned Systems Battalion, 40th Artillery Brigade, 44th and 61st Mechanized Brigades, 94th Anti-Tank Battalion, and the 100th Mechanized and 117th Heavy Mechanized Brigades.

Prior to its redeployment to the Dobropilia and Pokrovsk direction of the frontline in late 2025 to early 2026, the Azov Brigade and neighboring units such as the Lyubart Brigade and the Lyut Police Brigade were temporarily under the command of the 19th Army Corps.

Insignia

The insignia shows a chevron with a red base layer and a yellow border. Its central motif depicts a stylized yellow cross, nestled by four pointed stars in each corner of the cross in yellow.
