Thorne Group is a unit of Tactical Group Ethos as part of the 2nd Squadron of the International Legion.
The group was formed at some point in 2023, following the creation of the 2nd Infantry Battalion of the International Legion, also commonly known as the 2nd International Legion, in September 2022. It was formed as the Thorne Sabotage and Reconnaissance Group and attached to the 2nd International Legion.
It saw combat in the Serebryansky forest for an extended period of time, carrying out assault missions and defensive operations. At some point in 2023, it was reformed as the Thorne Assault Group.
On June 9, 2025, it became known that the Thorne Group had been inactive for a small period since September 2024 and had stopped carrying out combat operations. The team leader had been killed in action, and with former members of the Thorne Assault Group and previous members of the Delta Knights group, the group was reactivated and joined the International Legion of HUR MO, specifically in Tactical Group Ethos as part of the 2nd Squadron.
The group consists of volunteers from Britain, Australia, Finland, the United States, Ukraine, and Belarus.
