Support Unit
4th Separate Medical Battalion is a unit of the 3rd Army Corps, part of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
Its origins trace back to the medical service of the 3rd Assault Brigade, which took shape during the defense of Kyiv in February 2022, when military personnel and volunteers united their efforts.
Together with the 3rd Assault Brigade, the unit has endured some of the war’s fiercest battles, from the Zaporizhzhia front to Bakhmut, Kherson, the defense of Avdiivka, and the fighting in the Kharkiv region.
In 2025, the medical service was expanded into the 4th Separate Medical Battalion. Its mission is to provide evacuation of the wounded, as well as both emergency first aid and specialized medical care. The battalion will also include a treatment ward, a logistics and supply division, a department for medical documentation and patient tracking, and a training unit.
As the unit grows, its core mission remains unchanged: every soldier must know that, in their darkest moment, someone will be there to care for them, to save them, and to heal them. That’s what this battalion exists for.

Here you can find the last known structure of the unit, including their insignia if available.

It includes the headquarters, management and commandant platoon.
