Omega Company is a linear unit of 1st Squadron of the International Legion of HUR MO.
The group was initially formed as Omega Team at some point during 2023, making its first appearance around September 2023. It was known to be formed by experienced volunteers, with combat experience during the Russo-Ukrainian war, including from the Battle of Severodonetsk in 2022.
The unit had a high concentration of French-speaking personnel, including former members of the French Foreign Legion.
It has conducted multiple combat operations in several sectors of the front line, including assault missions in the Chasiv Yar direction during Spring 2024, and participated in joint operations alongside other elements of the International Legion of HUR MO. In October 2024, the unit took part in a raid together with Rogue Team of the 2nd Squadron, resulting in several casualties during the raid.
The team at some point, likely around October to November of 2025, was expanded to the size of a Company, becoming Omega Company, making it the third formation of its kind within 1st Squadron. The transition coincided with increased recruitment activity, and its subsequent deployment to the Zaporizhzhia direction in November to December 2025.
Throughout its deployment to Zaporizhzhia in November and December 2025, it worked alongside Able Company and other teams temporarily attached to it, including Med Team Alpha.
Insignia
The insignia depicts a square insignia with a crimson red border, and a black canvas. At its core, the imagery depicts an ancient Greek Omega symbol, being the last letter of the Greek alphabet, and meaning self-reliant and independent. Nestled around the symbol are oak leaves in crimson red.
