14th Army Corps is a combined arms unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was established in March 2025, as part of the wide reformation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces into a new structural command system between Corps and Brigades. It was formed on the basis of officers from the 92nd Assault Brigade, and reinforced with units that had extensive experience.
At the onset of the corps’ formation, Colonel Ruslan Tkachuk, the commander of the 100th Mechanized Brigade, was initially set to lead the corps; however, for unknown reasons, his candidacy was rejected. In May 2025, according to Horyn.info, Oleksandr Yaromshevich, the former deputy commanders of the 5th Heavy Mechanized and 156th Mechanized Brigades, was appointed as the corps commander.
In December 2025, the 50th Artillery Brigade was revealed to have been formed, and assigned to the corps to reinforce it with a corps-level artillery formation to support its combat units.
In January 2025, the corps commander was revealed to have been changed since May 2025, being Pavlo Zhytnyak, a highly experienced officer within the Ukrainian Defense Forces serving in many high profile units such as the 92nd Mechanized Brigade.
In February 2026, it was announced that the unit had been temporarily assigned under the Joint Forces Task Force.
