About Unit

The 241st Territorial Defense Brigade was formed in april 2022 with a reorganization of Territorial Defense Forces raised in the ukranian capital Kyiv, with six battalions of the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade (130th, 204th, 205th, 206th, 207th and 241st, which created the core and command of the brigade) and four battalions of the 114th Territorial Defense Brigade (242nd, 243rd, 251st and 252nd).

At the end of 2023 the 251st Territorial Defense Battalion was reorganized into the 48th Separate Assault Battalion.

In 2025, following the Reformation of the Territorial Defense Forces, 242nd Separate TDF Battalion and 252nd Separate TDF Battalion were moved under the command of the 117th Territorial Defense Brigade and later were reformed into the 5th and 6th linear battalions of the brigade. 243rd Territorial Defense Battalion was reassigned to the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade and became defunct, being reformed into its 7th Linear Battalion.
