117th Heavy Mechanized Brigade is a unit of Ukrainian Ground Forces, created in February 2023 on the basis of 15th Separate Rifle Battalion. The unit was formed for the 2023’s Ukrainian summer offensive in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and is part of 10th Army Corps. At least one mechanized battalion of the brigade was trained in Czech Republic. In October 2024, the mechanized brigade was reformed into a 117th Heavy Mechanized Brigade.
