241st Territorial Defense Brigade is a unit of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces.
It was initially formed following the beginning of the full-scale invasion in February 2022, being subordinated to the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade.
On April 14, 2022, the battalion was reformed and expanded into the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade, as part of a directive from the former Commander in Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhyn, where it would absorb newly raised Ukrainian units in the capital, Kyiv.
With the help of six battalions of the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade, the 130th, 204th, 205th, 206th, 207th, and 241st, which formed the command and officer cadre of the brigade, and four battalions of the 114th Territorial Defense Brigade, the 242nd, 243rd, 251st, and 252nd, the brigade was born.
At the end of 2023, the 251st Territorial Defense Battalion, subordinated to the brigade, was reorganized into the 48th Assault Battalion, which would remain within the branch.
Following the reformation of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces throughout mid to late 2025, the brigade reformed several battalions under its jurisdiction into linear units. The brigade also lost some of its battalions, with these units being reassigned to other units, including the 108th and 117th Territorial Defense Brigade’s.
In April 2026 the lead of the brigade passed from Colonel Oleksandr Voloshyn to Colonel Roman Yevchun, ex commander of 78th Air Assault regiment.
