10th Army Corps is a combined arms unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was formed in early to mid-2023, with the unit being publicly unveiled by MilitaryLand in June 2023. It was known to be formed in Poltava, grouping several mechanized, artillery, and other units of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
In August 2023, it was revealed that the 116th, 117th, and 118th Mechanized Brigades were temporarily or structurally subordinated to the corps, with the 46th Airmobile Brigade and the Skala Battalion also being present during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit.
In December 2023, the former commander, Brigadier General Serhii Perets, was dismissed from his position, with Brigadier General Vasily Zubanich, the main officer responsible for the efforts in Ukraine’s summer counteroffensive that same year, being appointed. Additionally, the 5th Tank Brigade and the 33rd Mechanized Brigade were then assigned under the corps’ jurisdiction.
In July 2025, the 43rd Mechanized Brigade would join the corps. A month later, the 1st Medical Battalion and 14th Mechanized Battalion would be reassigned to the corps, with a newly formed 183rd Reserve Battalion also being assigned under its command.
In February 2026, the corps was temporarily assigned under the command of the Joint Forces Task Force, commanded by Mykhailo Drapatyi.
Insignia
The insignia depicts a stylized chevron in a grey and subdued green colour. The peak of the insignia abbreviates the designation of the unit, with the central imagery representing the designation again in a roman numeral – a drastic shift from its former insignia, which paid homage to the region it was formed in.
