38th Separate Marine Brigade is a unit of the Ukrainian Marine Corps, subordinated to the 30th Marine Corps. The brigade was formed on November 10, 2022, on the basis of the 503rd Separate Marine Battalion. Its marine infantry component was trained in the United Kingdom.
In June 2023, the brigade participated in the Ukrainian southern offensive in the area of Velyka Novosilka.
In late 2023 and early 2024, the 38th Marine Brigade was committed to Krynky alongside other marine brigades. The Krynky operation did not achieve its objectives and took a heavy toll on Ukrainian marines, with hundreds of casualties.
