Joint Forces Task Force is a temporary grouping command structure as part of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was established in October 2025, following the disbandment of Strategic Group Dnipro, in preparation for the Ukrainian counterattack, to improve positions and retake the crucial city of Kupyansk in November and December of the same year. It is managed by the Joint Forces Command.
Under the command of the former Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapatyi, the force oversaw the tasks of recapturing, and clearing the city of Kupyansk in early 2025 to early 2026, coordinating many units in the counterattack. The operation was largely successful, with Ukrainian troops recapturing much of its lost ground.
In February 2026, it was announced that the 3rd, 10th, 14th, and 16th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces were assigned to the formation, alongside the 2nd Khartia Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard.
Insignia
The insignia portrays a chevron divided into three, being green on the left, blue on the right, and a shade of black at the bottom. Its core imagery incorporates two crossed golden Cossack sabers and a sceptre in the center of the chevron to signify it being a command structure.
