20th Army Corps is a combined arms unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was formed in March 2025 following the widescale reform of the Ukrainian military into the corps structure. It falls under the command of Operational Command East and is garrisoned in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
In June 2025, the 20th Army Corps publicly revealed its structures and the brigades subordinated to it.
The 60th Artillery Brigade was formed in July 2025 on the basis of a battalion from the 40th Artillery Brigade, being propped up specifically to reinforce the 20th Army Corps with a corps-level artillery formation.
In September 2025, the Commander in Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, dismissed two corps commanders from the Ukrainian Ground Forces, including Colonel Volodymyr Silenko of the 17th Army Corps and Maksym Kituhin of the 20th Army Corps. A month later, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Korsukov had been appointed to the position of corps commander, replacing Maksym Kituhin.
At the beginning of 2026, its entire combat core was fully completed, consisting of the 17th Heavy Mechanized, 23rd Mechanized Brigades, 23rd Reconnaissance Battalion, the 31st and 33rd Mechanized Brigades, the newly formed 60th Artillery Brigade, the 98th Anti-Tank Battalion, the 141st Mechanized Brigade, and the 423rd Unmanned Systems Battalion.
