Zakhid Battalion is a volunteer police unit formed in April 2022 in Volyn Oblast. The unit participated in the Kharkiv Offensive in 2022 as a shock-assault unit and helped to liberate several settlements.In 2023, Zakhid Battalion joined Lyut Assault Brigade.
