About Unit
Operation Task Force West is a temporary administrative command body of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was established in 2025 in order to undertake the frontline responsibilities of Operational Command West, grouping together several Army Corps under its command. It is tasked with defending the north-western and northern regions of Ukraine.
As part of its structure, it commands the 14th, 15th, and 18th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
Insignia
The insignia displays a chevron with a yellow border and a deep red canvas. The central imagery contains a stylized white cross at the bottom of the insignia, adjourned by a crossed sword and saber to symbolize the command nature of the unit. At its peak, it displays an elaborately stylized crown in gold, with most of the insignia being an echo to its parent unit.
