6th Motorized Battalion was a separate unit of the Ground Forces of Ukraine. The battalion was formed in May 2014 as 7th Battalion of Territorial Defense from the residents of Khmelnytskyi Oblast. In November 2014, the unit was reformatted into a motorized battalion under the command of 19th Missile Brigade.
In 2016, guards battalion of 44th Artillery Brigade was formed on its basis and the unit ceased to exist as a separate entity.
