About Unit

The 7th Motorized Battalion was a unit of the Ukranian Ground Forces, formed in May 2014 as the 7th Battalion of Territorial Defense with residents from Khmelnytskyi Oblast, that in November 2014 was reorganized as the motorized battalion under the command of 19th Missile Brigade.

In 2016, guards battalion of 44th Artillery Brigade was formed on its basis and the unit ceased to exist as a separate entity.
