229th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion was a military unit of the Territorial Defense Forces, formed and based under the command of 127th Territorial Defense Brigade.
In the summer of 2025, when the Brigade was reorganized in the 127th Heavy Mechanized Brigade, the battalion was linearized as the 1st Rifle Battalion, but soon disbanded.
