402nd Rifle Battalion is a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was formed and assigned to the 143rd Mechanized Brigade in 2023 as a Reserve Rifle Battalion, before being reformed as the 403rd Rifle Battalion.
It was eventually reassigned under the command of the 32nd Mechanized Brigade.
Insignia
The insignia features a chevron with a yellow border. At its center is a red field, while the upper third of the chevron is separated and colored blue. Within the blue section are two stars flanking a Cossack cross at the center. On the red field below sits a yellow cross with two beams.
