19th Motorized Battalion was a separate unit of the Ground Forces of Ukraine. The battalion was formed in May 2014 as 19th Battalion of Territorial Defense from the residents of Mykolaiv Oblast. In November 2014, the unit was reformatted into a motorized battalion under the command of 1st Tank Brigade.
In 2016, guards battalion of 40th Artillery Brigade was formed on its basis and the unit ceased to exist as a separate entity.
