The 14th Motorized Battalion was a separate unit of the Ukranian Ground Forces. The unit was formed in May 2014 as the 14th Battalion of Territorial Defense Cherkasy with residents from Cherkasy Oblast, that later in November was reorganized into a motorized battalion under the command of 72nd Mechanized Brigade.
In 2017, guards battalion of the 26th Artillery Brigade was formed on its basis and the unit ceased to exist as a separate entity.
