The French wheeled 4×4 APC has been in Ukrainian use since 2023 first entered production in 1979 and reached production numbers surpassing 5,000. France has deemed fit to send the APC in the hundreds which have entered service with mechanized, airmobile and air assault brigades as well as making up the backbone of transportation of the ill-fated 155th mechanized brigade during its training and initial deployment to Pokrovsk in late 2024.
