115th Territorial Defense Brigade is a unit of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces.
The unit was formed in June 2018 in Zhytomyr, Zhytomyr Oblast. In late October 2021, it participated in the United-Efforts 2021 large-scale training exercise in anticipation of a possible invasion by Russia, which was building up its military presence on the Ukrainian border for some time.
On January 26, 2022, the previous commander, Colonel Muzhuk Mykhailo, stated that the brigade was 70% formed, being fairly sized. At the onset of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the brigade participated in hostilities in eastern Ukraine, where parts of the brigade fought during the bloody summer fighting in the city of Severodonetsk. It also took part in the Kharkiv counteroffensive in late 2022. Its fighters covered the offensive from the south and approached the city of Lysychansk.
In February 2023, the brigade was deployed to the south of the Serebryansky forest in the Kreminna direction, and was then moved further to Svatove, where the commander of the units 138th Territorial Defense Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Verbylo, was killed in action.
