About Unit

Operational Tactical Group “Odesa” is a temporary formation of military units responsible for defending the Ukrainian coastline between the Danube and Dnipro rivers. The group was established on October 23, 2022, based on Tactical Group “Oleksandria.” Initially, it was part of the Ukrainian Ground Forces under Operational Command South. In 2025, the group was transferred to the Territorial Defense Command South, thereby limiting its role to defensive operations.
