As a result of the 2025 restructuring of tank battalions into heavy mechanized brigades, there are no battalions designated solely as tank units. Each mechanized brigade includes one tank battalion, and each heavy mechanized brigade includes two tank battalions, all of which fall under the tank-troops designation.
