About Unit

Kapa Training Battalion is a linear unit of the 2nd Khartia Corps as part of the Ukrainian National Guard.

The battalion was formed in 2026 in honor of a Chief Sergeant in the Khartia Brigade, Alexander Yushchenko, known by the callsign “Kapa”, who was later killed during a combat mission in 2024. Yushchenko had defined the philosophy of training and educated the personnel of Khartia, which the unit continues to develop and scale.
