About Unit

29th Regiment of Key Facilities Protection, part of the Ukrainian National Guard, is dedicated to protecting the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. Originally established in 1992 as the 3rd Battalion of Key Facilities Protection, the unit was reorganized and expanded to regiment size in 2024.
