The passed through battles at P’yatykhatky, Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Rivnopil, Novopil and Pryyutne. Fighting as reinforcements within various mechanized brigades, they reppelled enemy assaults in numerous settlements across Ukraine.
Pryyutne stood out the most, where they took up a defensive position in a scorched forest on the riverbank. The occupiers remained on these positions until they retreated in 2023. Familiar with their own bunkers and trenches, they endured relentless artillery, mortars, air-dropped munitions, and even aviation strikes that tore apart the remnants of the once-forested area. The battalion’s riflemen repelled daily enemy assaults.
In April 2025, the battalion was reformed into the 2nd Rifle Battalion of 33rd Mechanized Brigade and ceased to exist as a separate unit.
