About Unit

Operation Task Force East is a temporary administration body that functions as a frontline extension of Operational Command East. The group is tasked with the defense of south-eastern Ukraine.

Brigadier General

Dmytro Bratishko

He served as deputy commander of the 80th Brigade in 2018, and on September 20 of that year became commander of the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade, a post he held until 2021. In 2022, he was appointed commander of the 95th Air Assault Brigade, and in 2024 became Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of the Air Assault Forces. Later that year, he assumed command of the Operational Command “East,” and in 2025 he was appointed commander of Tactical Group Zaporizhzhia, with the disbandment of the OTU he became commander of the newly formed Task Force “East”.
