About Unit

The 6th Motorized Battalion was a unit of the Ukranian Ground Forces, formed in May 2014 as the 6th Battalion of Territorial Defense Zbruch with residents from Ternopil Oblast, that in November 2014 was reorganized as the motorized battalion under the command of 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.

In 2016, guards battalion of 19th Missile Brigade was formed on its basis and the unit ceased to exist as a separate entity.
