43rd Motorized Battalion was a separate unit of the Ground Forces of Ukraine.
The battalion was formed in August 2014 as 43rd Battalion of Territorial Defense with residents of Dnipro Oblast, and later that November was transformed into a motorized battalion under the command of 53rd Mechanized Brigade.
In 2018, the battalion was reformed into the linear motorized battalion of the brigade, and the unit ceased to exist as a separate entity.
