29th Rifle Battalion was a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was originally formed in 2022 in response to the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In 2023 the unit reinforced the newly established 117th and 118th Mechanized Brigades, which took part in the Ukrainian summer offensive in the Zaporizhzhia oblast.
The battalion suffered heavy casualties and was subsequently disbanded. The remaining personnel was transferred to other units within the 115th Mechanized Brigade.
