29th Rifle Battalion was a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It was originally formed in 2022 as a response to the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Its soldiers reinforced the 117th and 118th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, which took part in the Ukrainian summer offensive towards Melitopol in 2023.
As a result of their efforts, the battalion suffered heavy casualties and was subsequently disbanded. Its remaining personnel were transferred to other units within the 115th Mechanized Brigade.
