About Unit

25th Anti-Tank Battalion is a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

It was formed at some point following the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, as the 25th Rifle Battalion and was attached to the 54th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

In August 2025, the battalion was reformed as a separate battalion as part of the 3rd Army Corps and redesignated as the 25th Anti-Tank Battalion, becoming the corps’ dedicated anti-tank unit.

Soldiers from the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade, such as “Doc”, began to fill the unit to help with the reformation to the corps level.
