209th Anti-Tank Battalion is a specialized unit of the Ground Forces. The unit was originally formed in 2019 as a separate unit under the command of 43rd Artillery Brigade, but subsequently demobilized and remained only on paper. The battalion was raised up again in 2022, after the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, this time directly under the command of Ground Forces.
