About Unit

169th Training Center Desna is a military unit of Ukrainian Armed Forces that specializes in training of personnel for various branches of the Ground Troops.On May 17, 2022, the base of the unit was hit by Russian missiles. At least 87 people were found dead under rubble, following the missile attack.
