About Unit

11th Motorized Battalion is a battalion of the Ground Forces of Ukraine under the command of 59th Motorized Brigade. The unit was created in 2014 as 11th Battalion of Territorial Defense Kyivska Rus. In October 2014, the battalion was reformed into a mechanized battalion and assigned to 72nd Mechanized Brigade, and later to 59th Motorized Brigade.

In 2025, the battalion was reformed into an assault unit.
