Aviation is a key component of the Ukrainian Air Force. This highly maneuverable type of troops is responsible for the protection and defense of country’s airspace. Their main tasks include targeting enemy objects from the air, providing air support, airlifting troops and supplies, and performing aerial reconnaissance.
