14th Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Radio Technical Brigade is a military unit under the command of Air Command South of the Air Force. The unit is based in Odesa, Odesa Oblast.
The brigade’s primary mission is to detect and track enemy aerial threats and targets, and to relay information to command centers so that aircraft, air defense units, missile systems, interceptor drones, and mobile fire teams can shoot down those targets. The unit is also responsible for ensuring that the population is promptly informed of any aerial danger.
By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 408/2022 of June 15, 2022, the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Radio-Technical Brigade was awarded the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery.”
Since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine up to 2026, the brigade’s troops have detected and tracked over 317,000 enemy aerial targets, and intercepted 13 missiles and more than 700 drones.
