Website Recap – April 2024
Recap of changes and additions on MilitaryLand.net during the past month.
In March, the primary focus was put on The Hub, a place where registered users can submit a unit to our database, and on quality of life features. We successfully launched the hub on April 28, and you are more than welcome to join.
As for quality of life features, role and submission fields on a unit’s page are now clickable. You can give it a try on 3rd Mechanized Battalion for example. Please allow us a few days to tweak it on all units, as it requires manually change all submissions. The change also made it possible to list all separate units under their parent automatically, without additional input from the editor’s side. Another improvement is a section called “Mentioned units” which you can find on all posts. It lists all mentioned units in the post from now on.

What's next?
Our primary focus for the next month is to reduce the backlog of requests submitted by our users on the Discord server and in the hub. We'll also keep an eye on the submissions and support new users with it.
