1st Regiment of Key Facilities Protection

About Unit

1st Regiment of Key Facilities Protection is a unit of the Ukrainian National Guard.

The regiment is tasked with the protection of State Factory Pivdenmash, Dnipro Machine-Building Plant, and other state-owned objects that are of strategic importance in the Dnipro Oblast.

On January 27, 2022, a conscript of the unit killed four fellow guardsmen and one civilian. The event resulted in the resignation of the National Guard commander.
