Ukraine celebrates the Day of Defenders
Ukrainian units received honorary titles and battle flags.

On the Day of the Defenders of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded state honors to soldiers, presented battle flags and honorary titles to brigades.
Battle Flags
The following units received a battle flag.
- 43rd Mechanized Brigade
- 117th Mechanized Brigade
- 47th Engineering Brigade
- 16th Sustainment Regiment
- 25th Regiment of the National Guard
For Courage and Bravery
The following units received the honorary title For Courage and Bravery.
- 148th Artillery Brigade
- 138th Radio-Technical Brigade
- 126th Territorial Defense Brigade
- 6th Border Guard Detachment
- 38th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment
Honorary Titles
In addition, the following units received honorary titles.
- 45th Artillery Brigade received a title “named after Gen. Myron Tarnavskyi”
- 34th Regiment of the National Guard received a title “Khersonskyi”
- 43rd Communication Regiment received a title “named after Ivan Lutsenko”
- 808th Support Brigade received a title “Dnistrovska”

I think something wrong with the post on the Presidental cite (as far as I see it’s a source of this publication). They wrote that 82nd Air Assault Brigade had received honorary title “Bukovynska”, but the brigade had recived this honorary title on 23th of August (Decree of President No. 530/2024, 23/08/2024).
And no any word about new honorary title of 43rd Communication Regiment (named after Ivan Lutsenko, Decree of President No. 674/2024, 30/09/2024) and 808th Support Brigade (“Dnistrovska”, Decree No. 673/2024, 30/09/2024).
Also they forgot about ‘For Courage and Bravery’ of 38th Air Defence Regiment (Decree No. 672/2024), but mentioned 138th and 148th Brigades which have racieved ‘For Courage and Bravery’ on 23rd of August (Decrees No. 526/2024 and No. 525/2024, 23/08/2024). Strange things but it looks like a mistake
