Final Ukrainian Army Corps Unveils Its Identity

We have managed to obtain details about the 14th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, previously one of the least documented units, including its insignia.

The insignia features a yellow border, and the central canvas is divided into two colours, red on the left and green on the right. The central imagery depicts three stylized Cossack crosses, or otherwise Silver Cross Pattées, facing horizontally and vertically. Above them are two traditional, stylized Cossack sabers with gold hilts and silver blades. The insignia was redrawn by our contributor davomme and first published on MilitaryLand.

The corps has adopted the motto “Strength, Defense, Victory.”

According to the 4vlada.com portal, the formation is being established in Kyiv. If confirmed, it would be the second corps based in the capital, alongside the 12th Army Corps.

The commander

According to available information, Colonel Ruslan Tkachuk, commander of the 100th Mechanized Brigade, was initially slated to lead the unit. However, his candidacy was rejected for reasons that remain unclear.
