ColonelKnown by the callsign “Cornet,” he graduated from the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Military Institute of Missile and Artillery Forces. He began service in 2014 in an Artillery Brigade, later joining the Omega Special Unit. In 2015, he commanded the 1st Battalion of the Rubizh Brigade, fighting near Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. After leaving service in 2019, he returned at the start of the full-scale invasion, forming the Khartia Volunteer Unit, later becoming the 13th Operational Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard. In March 2023, he became the brigade’s commander, and in April 2025, he became the commander of the 2nd Khartia Corps.
