505th Marine Battalion is a separate marine battalion currently under the command of 37th Marine Brigade. The battalion was created in 2023 by the veterans of Marine Corps, Air Assault Forces, Special Operations Forces and other units.
Insignia
The sleeve insignia is designed as a heraldic shield, divided into a sea wave-colored field and a dark blue field, bordered with a silver outline. At the center of the shield lies a silver lightning sword, flanked on both sides by silver tongues of flame, symbolizing speed and energy, as well as power and the strength of retribution.
