About Unit

38th Regiment is a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, formed in February 1992 on the basis of two line battalions from the 7th Brigade of the Soviet Internal Troops. The unit was originally designated as the 75th Battalion and was renamed the 7th Battalion sometime after 2014.

In 2025, a 38th Regiment was formed on its basis.
