About Unit

30th Regiment of Key Facilities Protection, part of the Ukrainian National Guard, is responsible for safeguarding the Pivdennoukrainsk Nuclear Power Plant. Originally established as the 4th Battalion of Key Facilities Protection in 1991, it was expanded and reformed into a regiment in 2024.
