About Unit

11th Brigade Named After Mykhailo is a unit of the National Guard. The brigade was formed on the basis of the 49th Public Order Protection Regiment in October 2019.

Insignia

The brigade’s shoulder patch is circular in shape. On a red shield, it features an anchor, a symbol of a port and trade city. This emblem highlights the unit’s connection to Odesa, the location of its formation and permanent deployment.
