Group 13 Special Unit

Group 13 is a unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate, created for conducting maritime operations using naval drones. Their target list includes enemy ships and airborne targets. It was “Group 13” that became the first Ukrainian unit to sink a ship using a naval drone.

At the center of their emblem, a battle owl is depicted holding a sword against the backdrop of sea waves. This symbolizes the specific combat tasks of “Group 13.”
